“Paradigm Shifts in Presbyopia – Understanding Advances in Topical Treatment Innovations” 1hr. COPE # 91186-GO
This course will cover an overview of the anatomy, pathophysiology, and impact of untreated presbyopia on quality of life. A discussion of treatments for presbyopia will include advances in contact lenses and topical therapeutics.
“Rule These Out Before You Diagnose It As Dry Eye” 1hr. COPE # 88868-TD
Although dry eye can be a debilitating condition for some, it can be virtually asymptomatic for others. Additionally, there are several things that can be highly symptomatic that are not dry eye. This course will discuss those critical things that need to be ruled out before starting a dry eye treatment regimen for patients complaining of dry eye symptoms.

The management of patients with various forms of glaucoma has been greatly enhanced by the emergence of various technologies. However, the interpretation of that technology still requires diligence on the part of the clinician. Multiple technologies and an honest depiction of their limitations will be discussed, with an emphasis on diagnosis and longitudinal management employing holistic patient care.

This course will discuss a wide variety of optic nerve and retinal conditions, specifically reinforcing the necessity of multimodal imaging in the diagnostic process. A multitude of cases will be presented in order to highlight how these imaging principles benefit the practitioner in streamlining diagnosis.
