This course covers a variety of common and interesting anterior segment cases in a grand rounds format using audience polling and interaction. Proper clinical evaluation, differential diagnoses, and appropriate treatment and management options will be discussed.

“What’s New in Diabetic Retinopathy” 2hrs. COPE# 86624-SD
This program is presented to improve the identification and staging of diabetic retinopathy. In addition, it is intended to promote better prevention of visual complications related to diabetes, promote earlier treatment as needed, and improve care provider communication and coordination of care efforts.

“How discovery favors the prepared mind. Illustrative retinal cases” 1hr. COPE# 86625-TD
There are a number of conditions that can compromise the macula. In this course the attendee will be challenged with differential diagnoses of age-related, trauma-induced and idiopathic presentations. The management of these cases with resolution will be offered.
