The goal of this presentation is to review the pharmacology and clinical applications of systemic medications in the management of ocular disease. Indications, contraindications and proper dosing in normal adults and special populations, will be presented. There will be special emphasis on “drug of choice” selection and special dosing formulas. Anti-infectives, analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs are covered in detail.
