“The Optic Nerve  in Glaucoma and Beyond” COPE# 79894-GL 2hrs.

This course covers glaucomatous optic neuropathy and other aspects of glaucoma, as well as other conditions that can affect the optic nerve and mimic glaucoma damage. An emphasis is placed on how glaucoma affects the optic nerve, and distinguishing glaucoma damage from other conditions. Anatomical nerve abnormalities, LHON, compressive neuropathy, NAION, arteritic ION, and optic nerve drusen are covered in addition to glaucomatous optic neuropathy.
