COURSE (option 1) you are advised to confirm WITH THE MASSACHUSETTS SOCIETY OF OPTOMETRISTS AND/OR THE MASSACHUSETTS BOARD OF OPTOMETRY, in writing, IF THEY WILL exercise their ADMINISTRATIVE DISCRETION AND ACCEPT THIS 40 HOUR COURSE FOR YOUR Massachusetts Certification. IF GIVEN AUTHORIZATION FROM SUCH AUTHORITY, THAT THE MASS. BOARD OF OPTOMETRY AND THE MSO WILL ACCEPT THIS COURSE TO FULFILL THE MASSACHUSETTS REQUIREMENT FOR GLAUCOMA/ORAL MEDICATION CERTIFICATION, YOU WILL BE GIVEN all the EXAMINATIONS NEEDED AS THEY REQUIRE WITH THE PASSING GRADE THAT THEY SET. YOU WILL ALSO BE GIVEN VIDEO ACCESS ONLINE TO ALL SECTIONS FOR YOUR STUDY AND REVIEW IN PREPARATION FOR REQUIRED EXAMS. AGAIN, you must contact the stated administrator which is the MSO and THE MASSACHUSETTS BOARD OF OPTOMETRY to confirm in writing that this course will be accepted as the 40 hr. Didactic requirement of the Massachusetts glaucoma/ oral meds certification course. You must submit a copy of this notice to EYE-SIGHT 20/20 with your registration, as such proof of acceptance, to be placed in the Massachusetts certification track of this course so that you will be given all the required examinations and the certification certificate to be used to submit to the Massachusetts Board of Optometry to fulfill the 40 hr. didactic requirement of the certification process. EYE-SIGHT 20/20 HAS NO INFLUENCE ON THE ADMINISTRATOR’S AND/OR THE MASS. BOARD OF OPTOMETRY’S DECISIONS NOR HAS A ROLE IN THE 20 HR OF INDEPENDENT CLINICAL TRAINING — PLEASE REFER TO MASS BOARD RULES AND REGS. FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL CERTIFCATION PROCESS. Eye-Sight 20/20 does not represent or warrant in any way that successful completion of the course will meet the requirements for The Glaucoma/Oral Meds Certification for Massachusetts Optometrist (hereinafter “Certification”). Your enrollment and successful completion of the course may not be sufficient for the issuance of a certificate unless express written consent of acceptance is provided by the MSO and the Massachusetts board of Optometry to accept this course as fulfilling the 40 hr. didactic portion of the Massachusetts glaucoma / oral medication certification process. Enrollees acknowledge and agree that it is their responsibility to obtain whatever certification might be available upon completion of the course.
