Glaucoma Overview: Etiology to Evaluation

The foundation for classifying and understanding the diagnosis and management of any disorder is recognizing etiologies and resulting pathological changes. Open-angle glaucoma produces characteristic changes in ocular anatomy, from the anterior-chamber angle to the optic nerve and beyond. Developing an examination strategy designed to appreciate the earliest indication of glaucomatous damage based on normal anatomy and departures is the aim of this course.
