The most prevalent type of glaucoma in the United States is primary open-angle glaucoma, but there are a significant number of secondary open-angle and angle-closure glaucomas, which will go undiagnosed without careful clinical examination. As the disease course and management will often differ substantially, it is imperative that the correct diagnosis be made. This course provides an overview of the spectrum of primary and secondary angle-closure glaucomas.
